Goat and Sheep Feed Guide

Goat and sheep rearing is growing fast in Kashmir - for meat, milk and wool. But most flocks are raised on grazing alone, which limits growth and breeding performance. A small daily amount of balanced concentrate feed dramatically improves weight gain, kid/lamb survival and milk.

Feed Goka Premium Goat & Sheep Feed daily by body weight: Kids/Lambs (10-15 kg): 200-350 gm. Growing (15-25 kg): 400-600 gm. Adults (25-50 kg): 700-1000 gm. Pregnant: 800-1000 gm. Lactating (35-50 kg): 1.0-1.15 kg. Breeding bucks (40-60 kg): 1.0-1.2 kg. Enriched with Vitamin AD3E, calcium, phosphorus and zinc, it covers exactly what grazing misses. Feeding pregnant does in the final 6 weeks gives stronger kids and better milk.
