The buffalo's famous love of water is a summer story — her sparse coat and dark skin that crave the wallow in July make her surprisingly exposed in January. Kashmiri winters ask specific buffalo questions: skin care without the wallow, warmth without the sealed shed, and feeding that defends her famous fat percentage through the cold.

Feed Guidance
